ALPIrobur – for high levels of wear
ALPIrobur is a laminate with real-wood veneer for high levels of wear. This robust variant is coated with a melamine surface and is suitable for particularly high loads; on request it is even available in a fire-retardant version.
The laminate retains the beauty, warmth and naturalness of wood and adds resistance, stability, homogeneity and consistency in colour and texture.
The well-known quality and uniqueness of ALPI veneers is applied to a phenolic-resin kraft paper, brushed if required, and then coated with a melamine overlay. ALPIrobur is suitable as a surface for furniture, doors, wall and ceiling cladding, and for interior architecture in hotels, restaurants, offices, yachts, aircraft and cruise ships, as well as retail fit-outs.
The surface treatments give the real-wood laminate different tactile and visual effects, from matt and brushed to silky gloss or open-pore.
ALPIrobur – the advantages
The robustness of the melamine overlay combined with the beauty of genuine ALPI veneers.

Stability
The reverse of the real-wood veneer is reinforced with phenolic-resin kraft paper; the surface is coated with a melamine overlay.
Unlimited availability
Even for rare species such as Makassar, rosewood, zebrano or root figure, supply is guaranteed as required.
Cost efficiency
ALPIrobur is supplied in standard dimensions, providing reliable calculation bases. Material utilisation and costs can be calculated precisely.
Fire-retardant
ALPIrobur is available on request in a fire-retardant version and correspondingly certified (IMO-MED, CLASSE 1, CLASSE B-s1.d0).
Diverse design options
ALPIrobur can be produced from almost all available ALPI veneers.
Immediately ready for use
ALPIrobur has a finished surface and is immediately ready for use.

ALPIrobur – special features
The special feature of ALPIrobur is its immediate readiness for use, particularly in highly stressed areas. The jointed ALPIlignum veneers are applied to phenolic-resin kraft paper and then finished by applying a melamine overlay to the surface. Depending on the surface treatment, different visual impressions are emphasised. The BRUSHED surface offers a three-dimensional matt finish with a brush effect. The MATT surface shows a barely perceptible matt finish. The SOFT surface provides a finish with a natural look and feel, while PORE has an open-pore finish. From a minimum quantity of 50 sheets, ALPIrobur can be produced with almost all ALPIlignum veneers. For special requirements, the production of a fire-retardant version – correspondingly certified – is also possible.
